Well
My Dad’s bought a Mini One convertible. Means that me and my brother get his old car to share (he can’t drive yet), a Ford Fiesta Ghia
Rock on
(in other news, the power supply on my laptop is broken and I’m using my brothers PC).
1 comment. The personal website of Chris Northwood
I'm Chris Northwood - often found online using the handle laser, or some variation of this. I also hold the radio callsign 2E0NTW, however I've been dormant for some time. I'm hoping to get back into radiosport soon, though.
I currently work for the BBC as a Graduate Software Engineer.
I've completed an MSc in Computer Science with Speech and Language Processing at The University of Sheffield, gaining a distinction. I also have gained a 2:1 for my undergraduate degree in BEng Computer Science at the University of York.
I've worked on multiple award-winning projects, including The Guardian's Student Media Award for Best Website whilst the technical lead on Nouse.co.uk, the UCISA Award for Excellence whilst lead developer on Mobile Oxford, as well as personally winning the Greg Dyke Award for Outstanding Achievement.

1 comment. So, yesterday was my last day at school. Ever. In my whole life. It’s just sinking in, you know? All the people I’ve been friends with for the past 2 years I won’t be seeing 5 days a week any more. It’s kind of upsetting/depressing…
I’ve done it before, though. When I left St. Mary’s, I very rarely speak to anyone. In fact, the only person I’ve stayed in semi-regular contact with who I actually knew is Steph, and I’ve occasionally e-mailed Dan Bentham, but not really too often. I’ll get used to it, I suppose. M0RHI, you’d better not stop being on MSN/IRC
I imagine I’ll stay in touch with people over the summer, at least to a certain degree, and then M0RHI will be on MSN/IRC, and I guess Hel will be too, maybe. Shame Dan’s computer is stuck in the stone age, but 2 out of 3 isn’t bad.
Okay, last Monday was my first exam (General Studies 3), and I’ve officially broken up for study leave now.
The next week looks like this: Monday AM: Pure Maths 1, PM: General Studies 1+2; Tuesday AM: Physics 5 practical; Wednesday PM: Maths Mechanics 1. And then I have no exams until the 15th June!
15th June PM: General Studes 4+5
16th June AM: Business Studies 4+5
16th June PM: Physics 4+5
Now, I’m supposed to have another exam there, but I’ve got too many exams on that day, so I’ve got this “overnight supervision” thing.
17th June AM: Maths Mechanics 2
21st June AM: ICT 4
23rd June AM: General Studies 6
23rd June PM: Business Studies 6
24th June AM: ICT 5
24th June PM: Core Maths 3+4
27th June PM: Physics 6
And then the 30th June is the leavers “do” (not a prom) at the Racecourse. 1st July is the leavers service at school, and then the 2nd July is my birthday
Does anyone like KT Tunstall?
I’m thinking of going to see her on Friday at the Leadmill but I don’t know anyone else that likes her and I don’t want to go on my own
